I have mounting points on my Haibike SDURO that are exactly 7” apart. I’ve seen racks listed for disc brakes which I have but none of the mounting legs seem to be wide enough - about 6 1/4” seems to be the widest. What do most people do - bend the legs out until they fit? Thanks.

Never mind, I found a tapped hole with a rubber plug in it on both sides. I’m good.

I just bought this bike and wish to install a rear rack but I don’t know if I have to get a specific model or not. I don’t see any mounting lugs other than the rear axle and I’m not fond of loosening any of those nuts. Seems the best choice would be to mount it on the lower and upper sections...

My Hafnny HF-MR083 mirror came today and it’s ok I guess. I can see behind me but the mirror is not at clear as I thought it was going to be. I must be spoiled nay Zeiss and Swarovski rifle scopes and binoculars. It will do though.

Not really planning on night riding on the streets but my main intended use would be going across fields and such - maybe inside a clean woods - in the morning and evening darkness on the way to my hunting stand. I just don’t want to drive into anything and I wouldn’t be going all that fast...

I was wandering around REI today and saw the Bontrager Ion Pro combination headlight/tail light for $180 - I can get it for $150 online. Just wondering if many are opting for this brand as well? Thanks.

I was just looking at those - trying to decide sidewise on the compact versus the original. This sight has 6 different frame lengths - +/- .5”, .1”, 1.5”. The only store near me is REI and they just carry the original. Nothing is ever easy.

Those look nice but it looks like you have to buy an 8.4v 9600 m/ah 18650 battery back and then you’d also need to have a specific charger probably to charge it. Where did you get yours and what was the entire cost? Thanks.

I stumbled across the Niterider 850 with a tail light that might serve my purpose - not sure what 850 lumens looks like in the field though. I do like how the headlight detaches from the mount to charge if I want. I have a couple Dereelight flamethrowers that I could use with a handlebar clamp...
