So Leoncycles are sending me a new bottom bracket and a new shimano altus crankset ! I know i have fitted a new bracket ( they dont know that) but do they expect you to carry out the repair ?

It was the bracket, same crank arm is solid, no movement, no creeks, everything now fine.

Managed to do it no problems, cost me about £30 all in, took about 30 mins.

Yes just noticed the other thread about loose crank, im going to change the bottom bracket, Halfords have one at £10 which has a lot of good reviews, £20 for the crank puller and bracket removal tool. I've emailed Leoncycles but dont know how they will feel about me doing it myself !

Stock display in UK is limited to 15mph, that's why a lot of us buy the kit from Australia. You can change setting to 28mph but you only seem to able to get to 22mph. The kit from Aus also has a throttle which again we dont have in UK.

No the bikes Ncm sell in the UK are totally legal ! They have the correct restrictions in place. There are ways of bypassing these but that applies to a lot of ebikes. Anyway off subject, i agree that we need a UK shop for parts and accessories.

Check out the Ncm throttle thread, a few of us have used the Das kit from Australia, i have the normal Moscow and it works fine, you are just left with a spare connection which i just taped up. Here in UK the Max speed seems to be 22mph but it is still far better than the 15mph previously.

Yeah got the off road kit with throttle fitted, makes a difference.

I dont think they even have anyone in the UK, all corrospondance comes from Germany.

I think people probably think that the white version will require more cleaning as any dirt/dust will show up a lot clearer.

I got a pannier rack and pannier bag and its been great ! I have all my bike stuff, D-lock etc in one side and my lunch, work stuff in the other and the great thing is you dont even notice they are there, no more heavy rucksack weighing me down.

They do (see the throttle thread) a couple of us have ordered, lifts the speed restrictor to about 22mph and adds a throttle.
