Did you get a response? Like you I’ve been looking for a tutorial on how to record a ride as my Mahle Battery has an intermittent power fault. The Orbea technician advises that the Mahle app will enable him to identify the issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Orbea Gain I have had a new battery fitted to my Orbea Gain. Since then intermittent power under L2 & L3 has occurred. LBS say fault cannot be found. They have not tested it in load, rather riding around the car park. Can someone please advise me.

Hi did you resolve your problem. I’ve just replaced my Orbea Gain with a new internal Mahle battery. At 100% it’s only showing a range of 28 miles. When I fitted my Rangecextender which was giving me 30 extra miles that’s now down to 20? Something wrong.

No. There was a marked difference in each of the three settings. I just felt I needed to reduce L2 a wee bit so that when riding with my friends we were on the same playing field. Have you checked the power output on your phone while riding?

Nope. Mine has been fine. All were set at 100% but I reduced L2 to 80. Maybe once you recharge the battery all will be ok.

Thank you for your response. Sadly there is nothing in these threads that can assist. I’ve even had a response from Orbea which is a bit negative and refers me to my LBS. I only want to know the sequence in the use of the IWOC control button that enable me to go down the levels ie L3 to L1.
