Now the backlight went out on my display...

Yup same issue here with the backlight - not a major and they have sent a replacement unit. Still, not good on such an expensive bike. Mind you, 7000km on mine so far, and a twice failed remote is not too bad for an ebike.

    915miles in 45days = 32charge cycles

Ive put 4500km on my pack in the last 6 months and its suffered no noticeable degradation, only thing that seems to effect range (other than wind and hills etc) is the ambient temp, when it drops the battery just gets used up a tiny bit faster, maybe an extra 4% per commute, but hell, that could...

Disc brake upgrade - Shimano XT

I upgraded to some shimano brakes, but for the lifr of me I cant recall the name of them but I think they were m506 Amazing difference, wish I had thought of trying different pads first though, that might have been cheaper by a tad........

    PR 2 Error on Remote

Alright, error resolved by the installation of a new remote unit. So for anyone else that might come across this error, the remote somehow got stuck in programming mode via a software/hardware bug. The unit can be reset but it needs to be sent to Europe or the states, so specialized just sent...

Anyone else come up with this error? Just randomly happened one day after a charge - was working fine during the day, charged up to go to work that evening and battery lights flashed remote error and screen displayed PR 2 0%. I can disconnect the remote and the bike works fine. I have taken...

    New owner of Turbo

Yeah I'm not often going too hard out, it's always just when I'm going down a big hill, happened just today coming home from work, hardly a major but a bit of a nuisance. Mine is the gunmetal grey colour, just the base model turbo, I've just added mud guards and a basic rack, take the kids to...

    New owner of Turbo

Hey Mate, kiwi turbo owner here too - had mine about 5 months/3000kms now and it's going strong - haven't seen any other turbo riders around on my travels, loads of bosch systems about though! Managed to get mine on sale for $4k which I thought was pretty reasonable. Just on a tangent - have...

    Brakes still squeaking

I had the same problem for quite some time on my turbo (with the formula one brakes) - it went away after about 2500k's :P If it's bugging you get organic pads like others suggested, otherwise it takes a coupe of months for those crappy pads to wear in properly it seems.

    Chain guide....

I've just used a front derailleur mech as a chain guide for mine, been running it for months with not a single dropped chain - not as cool looking as a guide, but works :)
