I had a problem with pooled water ruining my torque sensor. The dealer replaced it and drilled two holes in the bottom of the frame for drainage. I also applied silicone to the areas where the wiring enters inside the frame. Have not had any problems since
We are a Surface 604 family. I and my son have a Shred and my wife a Rook. Had a blown torque sensor on my Shred do to water damage. Dealer fixed very quickly.
