Are there any advantages of riding a 700x38 on the front and 700x47 on the rear on my CCX?

Will the narrow front tire be more responsive in turning, while keeping a wider rear for comfort?

    Help, my CCX was flooded!

Help! Yesterday I was riding my CCX in a mountain biking state park for the first time. I asked some girl about directions and she said sure go that way- what I thought was a small shallow green covered stream was a freaking pond and my CCX was immersed for a few seconds before I extricated...

Has anyone changed the handlebar on their CCX to a swept back bar?

I'm looking to change to a more relaxed upright the riding position on my CCX. The forward lean fatigues my 66 yer old neck and shoulders. Has anyone changed their handlebar and could recommend a certain fix?

Got lucky today on buying my first Ebike!

You can say that about any ebike, lol. With the youtube and the internet I can just about fix anything, lol. Juice warranty is not transferable and it probably near the 1 year term anyways.

Got lucky today on buying my first Ebike!

This bike is incredible. Wind and hills are no longer a problem for my 66 year old body. I was only using pedal assist level 1 and was going 20 mph easily on flat roads. The torque sensor is amazing. Most fun thing I bought in a few decades. I use the throttle from a standstill to get up to speed.

Got lucky today on buying my first Ebike!

So I have spent 6 weeks researching the right Ebike to buy as the hills here are taking all the fun out of bicycling when you are 66 years old. I grew up biking, always had a nice bike. I read and viewed a ton of bike reviews, first thinking that I would get a foldable but gravitating to a city...

    Biktrix Swift - 1000W, torque sensor, easy-step, 21ah battery

I'd rather have 700 mm tires on the Swift. A commuter bike should have larger wheels to cover more distance but that's just me.

FINALLY DECIDED!! Things I considered: For those looking for Step Through, Lower cost, & Best Value.

Uphill, thanks for your deductive thoughts on your Aventon 500 purchase, I'm in the same boat. I will check out all the other bikes you sifted through. I am also looking at the Rize City step-thru, did you get a chance review that one?

City commuter step-thru ebikes with a twist throttle?

Thanks for your suggestions but the Pedego is way to expensive for what you get. I am also pretty mechanical so I won't rely on a local dealer network. Also not to crazy about the rear sway balance with the battery on the back. Swift looks good but is $250 about 15% more than the Rize City.

City commuter step-thru ebikes with a twist throttle?

Which ebike do you have? So it's a left hand twist and the ring kind of acts like a thumb throttle?

City commuter step-thru ebikes with a twist throttle?

Are there any city commuter step-thru ebikes with a twist throttle and thinner tires 1.95" - 2.25" and 700mm wheels sizes? I'm looking at the Rize City and the Biktrix Swift and they both have thumb throttles and 26" tires. I'm 66 years old and would like a step-thru. I use to ride a motorcycle...

Looking to buy a portable folding ebike this month, my first.

Thanks, Flat Six, but I'm more inclined to choose a hybrid upright seating position with swept back handlebars. I'm 66 years old, lol.

Looking to buy a portable folding ebike this month, my first.

I'm rethinking my needs about a foldable as these ebike are way to heavy to fold and pick up. I'm thinking I should get the best suburban bicycle ride with larger tires, namely the Blix Aveny or the Rize City. If I opt for the larger 17Ah battery for an additional $400, I would get the torque...

Looking to buy a portable folding ebike this month, my first.

Yeah, Mike, I'll probably rarely fold this ebike and lift it into my car. It's probably just a dream thought, lol. Maybe I should look at City type suburban ebikes for a more hybrid ride.

Looking to buy a portable folding ebike this month, my first.

Yeah, I think the Rize Bolt or the Green Bike GB LOW STEP 500 will suit my fancy being a road bike for the suburbs. Thanks for your input on the Rize, anyone familair with the Green Bike? The green Bike has mag wheels. Are they more desirable than spoke wheels? I'll probably wait for warmer...

Thanks, but the motor is only 250W and I think I want a step through.

Looking to buy a portable folding ebike this month, my first.

After rethinking my needs, I think this will be mainly a road bike and every once in a while stick it in my car to transport to another venue. So in that case I would not want a fat tire bike but a lighter 2+" tire ebike. I'm concerned that GB Carbon Light's motor is too small as I am 230 lbs...
