Turned out to be the controller. Lectric sent me a new one, I swapped them, problem resolved!

Working with Lectric customer support now. They think it's a bad controller and they're sending me a new one. We'll see what happens...

A short was my first thought too. I checked the disconnect on the main power cable to the hub motor, but it was tight. Next I'll try disconnecting it and reconnecting it and check the pins. I'm also going to check the battery contacts in the frame to make sure I'm getting good contact. The...
