    Intuvia lifespan

Thanks Chris, that is good to know. And thank you for your wonderful videos. It was due to those in no small part that I purchased my Load 60 without ever seeing one in the flesh. I am happy to report it continues to exceed my expectations. It just does everything so effortlessly.

    Intuvia lifespan

Yea ... I still have *that* screw. Just not sure about it having had at least 3 cycle computers stolen over the years.

    Intuvia lifespan

Considering the $$$ I just shelled out I'd like to think I can count on at least 10, maybe 20 years on this thing.

    Intuvia lifespan

Richard, Thanks again. I'm mostly worried about it ( the Intuvia display ) getting stolen. I have ridden bicycles all my adult life and if there is one constant it's that anything not physically bolted to your bicycle gets stolen - especially cycle computers.

    Intuvia lifespan

Having read a thread about Bosch motor lifespans I am less worried about that than the Intuvia computer controller. If it breaks down, or gets stolen in the future chances are future controllers will not be backwards compatible. What are the options in that ( fairly likely ) scenario? How future...

    Dogs on cargo bikes

We found a workable solution. I used my dog's car harness ( https://ezydog.com.au/drive-car-harness/ ) with a cargo strap looped thru it's seatbelt loops and under the footwell lid. With the footwell lid closed and her sitting on it she has nowhere to go. She can stand up and walk around a...

    Dogs on cargo bikes

Thanks, I think you are right. Part of the reason I bought the load was to cart her around, but now that I have it I'm worried she could have a bad accident. She's a 15-month-old Sheltie and can wriggle her way out of her car harness if she wants to. But at least on the Load I can talk to her...

    Dogs on cargo bikes

Being a new owner of an R&M Load 60 I'm keen to get as much out of this bike as possible. I want to be able to take my dog to other places to go for a walk and into the city. I've gotten her used to it, and we did a short 3km ride yesterday ( her usual walking route ). Initially, I had her...

    Load 60 suspension

I have owned my Riese & Muller Load 60 Vario for 3 days. Already ridden her about 60 km just getting the feel of the bike and playing with seat and handlebar heights etc. I think I have that set up pretty well now. I notice the front fork shocks and the centre shock are adjustable. I can't find...

2020 Riese & Müller Load Review

I just brought one, not the HS model sadly. I bought the child seats but haven't tried them yet. Did a big grocery shop yesterday, it romped than in! Great bike - so practical and fun to ride.

    Hello fellow eBikers

Oops, I forgot to add I am from Canberra, Australia. I have *never* seen another Riese & Muller bicycle here, let alone a Load 60.

    Hello fellow eBikers

My Riese & Muller Load 60 Vario arrived 3 days ago. The CVT is taking me a while to get used to but I am getting there. I think the key is to spin at a uniform cadence and SLOWLY adjust the twist controller as the terrain changes, aiming to again keep the cadence uniform. Basically let the bike...
