Ultra 1000, used a 104BCD because original is too big for 32t, top speed pedaling is about 17-19 mph, top speed on throttle is about 25 mph. TBH it may be too low geared, great for woods and mud but, I’ve been riding a bit more on the road and am missing the higher gears.

We’ll I tried unplugging the temp sensor from the circuit board and then shorting the wires together and still got error code 11. Not sure what to try next.

Well it turns out the two black wires do in fact go to a temp sensor in the stator (windings). From what I gather it is not repairable and will result in having to buy a new motor. I’m thinking why not unplug it from the circuit board? You won’t have a temp sensor but, the motor will (might)...

I was going to try to explain how to do it but, this video explains it better than I could. the part about turning the axel with wrench is the most important thing. The torque of motor can cause the axel to bind in drop out.
