    Vado tire pressure

The KINEKT comes in two lengths, a regular, and a longer one for taller riders. I got the longer one thinking I would have another option for other riders only to find the seat post would not go fully down the tube. So if your do not ride with most of your seat post extended, just buy the...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I suppose one solution might be using the racktime adapter to bolt on a wider platform to better hold the bag. I recently added a tactical bag and as part of the install, I inserted a piece of wood, 1" x8" x 16" into the bottom of the back and then bolted through the board and bag onto the rack...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I did almost the same thing using the adapter plate and a tactical bag, meant for carrying handguns and ammo to the range. I wanted something sturdy. I was able to detach a strap and place it into one of the many zip pockets. The handle straps velcro together so were not an issue. Easy on...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I had the same problem with the stem bolt holding my front fender and headlight. The Stem bolt loosened up during a ride and rubbed the front tire. I tightened it up and later got some blue lok-tight to keep it tight. On another trip, first lost one stem bolt holding rear fender, before I got...

    2020 Turbo Vado 3.0

Yes the 604 is an exact fit for 2020 Vado 3.0. I bought 2nd battery after hitting 5 % twice on rides. Ask about the color matching trim piece. Both batteries appear identical with the trim piece, but the 604 is heavier than the 460.

    Stem Bolts for tool bag

The short question is what size stem bolts should I carry for emergency road repairs. I bought a Vado 3.0 in January. My first repair on the road was a loose stem bolt holding the front fender in place. Yes, the fender rubbing on the tire gets one's attention. I was able to tighten it with a...

    Kitting out a new Vado

I like the RackTime rack that comes on the Vado. Remember it is the narrow version of the Racktime racks. I bouight a RackTime Tourbox that is itself lockable and Racktime sells a lock that goes into the release mechanism. so I can leave my stuff in the Tourbox, locking the bike while I make a...

    TCD Display Settings

Sounds Like I need to decide which data fields I want shown, and then just redo the setup. Thanks.

    Kitting out a new Vado

Good Advice. I was thinking I would need to file down the fresh edge, but they will have the bike soon for the first tune-up

    TCD Display Settings

I most use Mission Control to display data during rides. I think I blew the settings on the TCD. In one of the modes, at the bottom I just see ODO and no data. I have stared at the manual until my head hurt but don't really get it. What should the ODO data field be showing me, or should I just...

    Kitting out a new Vado

I just bought the Kinect and love it. It comes in two seat posts lengths. I got the longer one, but the seat post does not extend far enough into the frame. I am about two inches too high. It is too late to send back for the shorter seat post, and I will probably take a hacksaw to it and...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I ordered a 2nd battery for my Vado 3.0 604wh should be a nice addition to the original 460 wh battery. I also ordered the cover plate that matches the color scheme of the bike. Nice fit. I only wish I could plug them together in series like some do with bottle batteries. I bet someone has...

2020 Turbo Vado - Early Impressions!

Blue 242 seems to be the medium strength choice. Red and Green are high strength. Good Advice.

2020 Turbo Vado - Early Impressions!

I see Loctite in several grades and packagings - A red, a blue and a green. Any advice as to one above the other. I had a screw come loose on a front fender mount yesterday during a ride, rubbing into the tire, and now know I need to go over the entire bike looking for loose fittings. I was...

Using Heart rate with Mission Control, Smart Control

Also, at the beginning of each ride, make sure the heartrate monitor is connected. I am tending to use Smart Control more to push me for a better cardio workout followed by Support from the Brose as needed. 2nd mile of a 30 mile loop today and the big hill. I pushed hard to the top keeping...

Using Heart rate with Mission Control, Smart Control

It is a different technique with both the TCD and Mission Control to pair a HRM (heart rate monitor) With the TCD, you have to go back through the setup steps and when you reach the step option of monitor heart rate, after answering yes, pairing the device is the next step. With Mission...

Using Heart rate with Mission Control, Smart Control

I like as how on a forum like this, one of us can be open about our questions, our ignorance, our learning curve and others that have been through that can voice their experience and information and all that read the forum can benefit, not only from the question but also the answer.

Using Heart rate with Mission Control, Smart Control

Thank You. That was it. I had tried before, but with your encouragement I persisted this time. Now my heart-rate shows up and my next ride will be a smarter cardio workout.

2020 Turbo Vado - Early Impressions!

I also bought a 2020 Vado 3.0 last month after a few weeks of research. I have lots of hills and the pedal assist makes all the difference. I knew I needed exercise and noted a few posting on various forums of men in their 60s and 70s out on their eBikes putting in the miles and the smiles. I...
