Rad "Mini" step thru is 68 lbs ?

I don't know if they use the same rack for the Rad Rover, but this was listed on Rad's website as the right one for the Rad Mini... I am really bummed that the 2019 version did not include fenders...

    More e-bike inconsistencies in NYC

This story in the NY Daily News - TLDR: NYC “allows” Class 1 e-bikes, not class 2 or 3. Rights advocates claim this is targetted primarly at food delivery drivers who are largely immigrant and persons of color. Per the article, NYPD is confiscating around 100 bikes / month, and giving fines...

Wish EBR would focus more on "Folding" the folding electric bikes...

I got a Radmini about a month ago. At 68 pounds (plus..) it's not the kind of folding bike that you'll ride to your destination, then fold up and carry around with you all day. But it is the kind of bike that I can fit in the back of my Subaru without folding the seat down which expands my...

    New York State ebike legislation

I hear that - and two officers in The Bronx told me essentially the same thing - "don't be an asshole, and you'll be fine". But then I come across stuff like this: The New York Police Department issued 2,603 summonses for moving violations involving electric bikes between Jan. 1 and Aug. 25 of...

    New York State ebike legislation

It's all very frustrating. Clearly there are plenty of e-bike riders in NYC and NYS safely riding their e-bikes, but never knowing if this particular police officer will pull them over and fine them and/or confiscate their bike... I will call the governors office FWIW and contribute my voice...

    Hello from New York City!

Hi! I just got an e-bike, planning to commute Bronx - Manhattan, but got worried about the "police crackdown" etc on class 2 bikes.... What class bike is yours and have you had any issues with police?

    New York State ebike legislation

Are there any updates on this? According to the legislature website, and some articles from the summer, Gov. Cuomo still hasn't signed it. Does that leave all e-bikes in the State and City illegal? Seems crazy when you can't walk one block in NYC without seeing an e-bike (usually under a...
