That would be awesome if you can post up specs. I too have the Suntour suspension seat post and LOVE it, this would complete my bike for now, only thing left for me would be to eventually convert to hydraulic disc brakes, but then I would lost the brake lever throttle kick off which I use always.
Looks awesome Bobn4burton! how does it ride?
Link to the fork for specs and measurements? Just hopped on my XP during lunch and went to the pet store to get food for the cats. We have been holed up inside for awhile now here in Mass. Like a zombie apocalypse out there.
I think during the fall, I only let my 13 year old son ride around the school parking lot, and that was pretty much it, because all the other times my wife wanted to ride with me.
So Saturday was his very first unfettered freedom on this bike on the bike path. He weighs about 110 I think, and I...
You rock! I used your post as motivation and yanked both bikes out this past Saturday. It was in the low 40's and sunny, so perfect for a nice ride. Took my son down the bike path, around town and stopped by CVS to get my prescription. Put the bikes away just like that after their legs were...
You are right! I have been quite busy lately and rather than the temperature, it's the darkness plus cold that has kept me inside. By this time of year I have normally gone out about 3-4 times on my nice 10 mile bike path ride and this winter has been incredibly light for us here up in...
Yeah, I do remember reading that prior to storage, just can't 100% remember what I did, there is a good chance that I rode a little and then stored them. Argh! Well, now it's obvious that they need to come out for a nice ride soon and then go back into storage. My lord I miss riding my XP!!!!
So around late November I believe, possibly early December, I put my wife's and my XP's down into the basement for winter storage. Each bike had a full charge at the time of storage. I actually pulled my battery out, as I was originally thinking of leaving my bike in the garage, just keeping...
I took a look at your video, and cannot explain the low mileage you are getting on a full battery charge, I myself am about 280 lbs and during last fall when I was riding a lot, I could easily go down my flat bike path and back for a total of 10 miles and my battery would still be close to a...
Pics would be great OId Biker, thanks a bunch! From what I recall, mine was pretty tight, I did not have any excess space anywhere, and it was difficult to get the rear wheel re-mounted, but once I did, it seemed to ride fine...
I installed the DNP and did not remove any spacers. Which specific spacer are you referring to? Would you mind posting a picture and circling it or something so it's easy to see? Why did you feel the need to remove it? did you compare the width of the stock cassette with the new one and notice...
I have not had any problems and am now using this DNP 11 - 28 tooth freewheel. I have only put maybe 30-40 miles on the bike since I swapped it and had to put it away for the winter. But while I was riding it, I experienced zero issues, and the freewheel appeared to be made well and was quite...
Cool battery vids, I enjoyed them!! Crazy to see what China is doing once you get inside them...but not really surprised.
I have been taking a hiatus from the XP since it got colder and was pretty wet for awhile. May have to take her out and warm her up soon for a nice sunny, yet cold winter...
