    Maxed out on PAS 3

This is not typical behavior for an XP. I think you obviously got a lemon. instead of trying to return it, I'd treat it as a warranty issue with Lectric and try to get them to fix it.

Did you unlock max speed? Setting P08

Have you tried disconnecting the cable at the the derailleur and manually checking the full range of motion? They may not have given you enough slack.

This is called an integrated head tube. They're common in the bmx world and there are no cups to change. I think changing to front suspension can be done fairly easily, and I might make it a winter project. You would need a threadless fork, cut it to the right length, an integrated headset...

You'll want one of these too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B6RGXG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are other ones, but DnP recommends a deep spline, and some dont have a big enough center hole. This one has proven to work.

I got the 11-28 tooth because I never use low gear (the 11 tooth is 7th gear). this leaves me the option to up my front chain ring to 56 or 58 tooth to get even more high gear. I dont know if the chain is long enough to do that with a 34t low gear.

I was measuring to the center of the chainring teeth but it's all the same.

I did something similar. I'm not a huge fan of fat tire bikes but the Lectric was such a good deal I went with it. I swapped my tires for 3 inchers to reduce the size (but still fit on the fat rims) with a more street friendly tread. They run way smoother and quieter. I can hear the motor spin...

So I looked at mine last night. it looks pretty much the same as yours as far as chain alignment, just not bad enough to rub. But I changed my freewheel for the 11 tooth high gear a while ago so it's not the same comparison. there's no visible chain wear and no noise. The rear cassette to motor...

I would think that if it is really cross threaded, you would see a little "wobble" of the cassette as you turned the wheel. It doesn't have to be cross threaded, I was just entertaining the possibility that the cassette is farther out for some reason. maybe threaded correctly, but something...

The back of your freewheel (cassette) is threaded and so is the motor (hub) and they screw in together. If crossthreaded, it wont go on all the way. Here's a picture I found on the web, it's not an ebike, but shows the threading. . You'll get the idea. edit: I didnt explain cross threading. its...

Are you sure your freewheel is correctly seated against the motor and not cross threaded? I dont have my bike handy but will look at this when I get home.

Known Issues & Problems with Lectric eBikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I just read a story that said, because of the rolling blackouts in California, people are buying gas generators to charge their Tesla cars. That got me thinking, if you strapped one of those small "tailgater" generators to your bike......

Ok, I have a couple questions. Are the batteries interchangeable? In other words, same form factor. Everyone's gonna want to know; is it unlocked?

I use 1 for both. I can't imagine why P11 has 24 settings; you don't want the motor to kick in until you've gone 1/4 mile?
