Just tested this - it definitely works. I.e. the motor assist does kick in while the wall charger is plugged and the battery is being charged.

The shop you bought the bike from should be able to hook it up to the EBikeMotion Dealer app to look up the official manufactured date for your bike. Like the others said, it really only matters for the battery.

Has anyone tried replacing the rear hub on any of VanMoof electric bikes with something with more gears? The built-in automatic 2 speed feels super limited.
