I agree, i just got mine, rode only 12 miles yesterday but didn't hear a thing. Last year when i first rode one in Greece i definitely noticed noise. i'm going to have to pay attention this week when i ride.

I ended up getting the seat post and a different version of the pedals. The bike store had some made from military grade plastic. you would think they are metal they are so hard, but he said they take up some of the bumps etc. since they are plastic. they have spikes like the one you have. So...

Congratulations @Citroen 105 . I'm guessing you got the 2019 which is awesome. I pulled the plug on the 2018 new, not used, Trekking 9.0. I added the awesome seat post, seat and grips. I'm super excited to pick it up tomorrow morning. Patty

Thank you JRA, i believe i saw that last night. I plan to bring up the price but i'm guessing i'll end up purchasing a new one. I ended up finding the 6.0 for 1999.00. Many of the same features but better components.
