I find it odd any e-biker would liken a class 3 e-bike to a motorcycle. I say this as a near daily rider of the TR1 Speed. I ride, almost exclusively, the trail system in and around the Denver metro.

The idea that “speed” bikes are illegal anywhere class 1 and 2 are legal is a bit absurd.

Wow, Alaskan, is that really necessary? I have searched everywhere I know to look including Schwalbe, and retailers selling the tire, and have not found anything other than they are “e-bike ready.”

Are the Hurricanes rated e-bike ready 25 or 50?

The bike has fenders standard so it is definitely not geared toward mountain biking. It also promotes an upright riding position with its handle bar setup. These two features, along with the knee comfort, are what got me interested. I’m not sure where I would commute at 20 miles an hour...
