Must I buy a new car for my hitch/rack/bikes?

This is an old thread, I know. I'm in a similar situation - 2007 WRX with 1 1/4" hitch, 2000lb towing/200lb TW, and want to use the Kuat NV 2.0 for (2) ebikes, each at 50lbs. Mark, how did you resolve this? I've researched Curt's notion of losing 25% tongue weight per foot, but can't find...

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Good to also know should I someday decide to try doing this work by myself to save money!

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Thanks. Good to know but I'll have the shop do it when they replace the chain, as part of the tune up service they partially completed.

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Hmm - thanks for the heads up, @LimboJim. Well, I initially ordered the Miranda guard from Amazon with the 16T sprocket. Then later cancelled the Miranda guard and ordered another 18T sprocket. I hope Amazon doesn't get confused, because now I just re-ordered the Miranda guard again! 🤪

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

22 does sound hard to climb with - I have an 18 with 41 on largest rear and I need to use Sport or Turbo. We decided to also order an 18t, and decide which is better for her (with 36 largest rear). Thanks again!

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Thanks again @fooferdoggie. I ordered the 16T SRAM chainring and will see how it goes (noise but no more popping 🤞). I appreciate your time and help. Cheers! Quito

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Oh if I understand correctly, I should only replace the chainring guard shown in the photo unless it broke, (and it hasn't). Maybe then I should only replace the front chainring. I'm looking for 15t or 16t only (18t is too large for her with the hills she needs to climb). Do you think this...

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

@fooferdoggie - Ok then, I don't believe ours came with a plastic chainguard, just the black chainring guard. I just wanted to be sure I identified all the parts we should replace. See this photo below from when it was new. Other than number of teeth and if it's for ebikes, do you know if...

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Thanks LimboJim and Fooferdoggie (great looking bike - looks different than ours and customized)! With this upcoming service, we'll look into replacing the chain, front chainring (probably the original with 5k miles on it, after 2 chains and 1 cassette during its lifetime), and add the Miranda...

Chain popping on Bulls Six50 E2 Street

Hi all - My wife's 2018 Bulls Six50 E2 Street has stock gearing and components, and often the chain pops off the front sprocket. LA FlyRides here in LA replaced the chain (KMC E10 chain, 10 speed, 136 link) but the problem persists. When I clean it the problem seems to stop for a few weeks...

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

After some research, it looks like the most suitable for her needs is the RedShift ShockStop seatpost and already ordered it yesterday. But I appreciate your offer, @FlatSix911. Cheers, guys!

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

@Ravi Kempaiah you read my mind - I've also been considering the Kinekt 2.1 for her with the tireset. @FlatSix911, if I can't get the 2.15 until 3/2021, I may have to go with BB+ 2.0. I'm sure the 2.0 are great, as @Ravi Kempaiah also said earlier. :)

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

Ah - Bingo - I see now I was on a different/old site. Well that's confusing! Thanks so much for the help Flatsix911 and Ravi - you guys rock. :) BB+ 2.15 is the winner - assuming I can get order in time! Happy Holidays and stay safe!

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

Thanks Flat6! Weird - The page I visit doesn't show that size (see below). If I can actually get it, I'll probably just go with BB+ at 2.15"! :)

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

You're right - 2" for Big Ben Plus at 27.5" - I misread the website and thought it was 2.15". She rarely goes the max 28mph, so what would you say 20-25 mph is still considered high speed? If not, I may still go with the Moto X because that's what she originally wanted, but it sounds unsafe if...

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

Thanks Ravi. That's what I thought too about the narrow rims with the balloon affect. It's a bummer because she likes the fat tires of my 2018 Raliegh Lore iE has 2.8" Moto X's, and we were trying to get her the same tires for her bike. Yeah, I'm considering the Big Ben Plus as the other option...

SUPER MOTO-X on Bulls E2 Street?

Hey all - I searched the forums and couldn't find any info so I'm hoping anyone here might be of help - This Christmas, I want to get my wife Super Moto X 2.4" tires for her 2019 Bulls E2 Street, which came with Kenda STYX Ace of Pace, 27.5" x 2.25" tires. Does anyone know if the 2.25" rims...

    Raleigh lore ie tire removal?

Thanks for this suggestion - but I bought this item and found out that the Moto X tires are too big. The jaws didn’t fit around the sidewalls to reach the bead. I returned it and am still looking for one that might fit the 2.8” tire size.

    Bosch sprocket/lockring upgrade

@Alaskan - thanks for posting this chainring info. Do anyone know if this will also work on my wife's 2018 Bulls SixFifty E2 Street, that uses the Bosch Performance Line Speed motor? Her bike currently has a 15T chainring, and we want to swap it out with an 18T. Thanks in advance!
