Nimble in city traffic and good for long distance ?

You didn't mention terrain, but most bikes can do what you want, you just pedal more and use less assist. Have a look at the Bosch simulator and plug in your requirements. https://www.bosch-ebike.com/au/service/range-assistant/

What’s a great place to retire for an e-biker?

I cycled through the US (6000+ miles) and there lots of nice towns, pity I couldn't spend a few days in each one, but Missoula, MT caught my eye as being a nice place. Forgot to mention its the home of (ACA) Adventure cycling association https://goo.gl/maps/dQ1tjFTN6VC2

For those who still have both?

The e-bike gets used a few times a week, whereas the m-bike gets used every other day.

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

Why pay all that money when you can get cheaper bikes, you aren't riding a lot of distance to justify the greater expense. https://www.reidcycles.com.au/urban-ebike.html - https://www.99bikes.com.au/cube-cross-hybrid-one-400-black-blue-2018

New E-Bike for aussie to commute to work around 60km round trip

Motorbike might be your best option, it'll be safer and probably cheaper. I've never been followed by the police in Melbourne on my E-bike and in the morning the police are always driving around, but if I wanted to go fast then I'd be on my carbon bike.

New E-Bike for aussie to commute to work around 60km round trip

Check out the high wattage direct drive rear hub motors, with a big 48v battery for the speed and distance you want, it won't be legal in Oz though. Maybe the Rev or Dillenger kits. https://rev-electricbikekits.com.au/product/1000w-hub-motor-kit/ -...

How do you plan to fix a roadside flat?

I use Marathon Plus tyres and they are a beast to get on my rim. If I get a flat, I'll be removing the rear wheel to fix it rather than leave it on the bike. The bar ends protect the instrumentation when the bike is upside down.

Looks like a tram from Melbourne, Australia in the background on the High level bridge, http://www.sydneytramwaymuseum.com.au/members.old/Trolley_Wire/296%20-%20Trolley%20Wire%20-%20Feb%202004.pdf
