Cost-Benefit Comparison: Lower Cost and Higher Power Electric Bike Motors

You are right and wrong. The acceleration isn't only dependent on voltage. It depends on how much power the magnets/weave have to move you. I'd imagine that the striker is fast but takes a while to get going. I wouldn't want to be switching wheels all the time, so I think I'll contact hpc.

Cost-Benefit Comparison: Lower Cost and Higher Power Electric Bike Motors

So I would defiantly go for a fearless striker hub motor for these reasons. More torque for hills means it will accelerate faster, do you agree? I need hill climbing ability. I don't want low a low wattage motor. How can we figure out which motors have neodymium magnets? Is there a...

Cost-Benefit Comparison: Lower Cost and Higher Power Electric Bike Motors

My questions- They have a geared and non geared striker motor. The non geared one is much higher power, so which one should I get? Do either of the geared or non geared striker motors have neodium magnets? Will the geared and non geared motors be able to go 45?

Cost-Benefit Comparison: High Speed Suspension for Electric Bikes ("CA Motorized Cycle")

Go on the fox website and find your favorite shocks that match up. They will be the same since the headset is universal. Make sure they are not going to charge you more then it would cost for you to get he shocks yourself

Cost-Benefit Comparison: High Speed Suspension for Electric Bikes ("CA Motorized Cycle")

It seems to be all marketing. The best thing to do is get the sport and see how you like the shocks. If you don't like them look for a fox alternative. I wouldn't get the 5.0 just because of the suspension because that's just too much. You could try to twist their arm for a suspension upgrade...

Exactly, but you need a sensitive shock to allow this Spingarm to absorb small shocks.

They will be with all the shocks that come stock. Don't worry

Cost-Benefit Comparison: High Speed Suspension for Electric Bikes ("CA Motorized Cycle")

Dot standards limit to 3700 watts, so the revolution sport isn't a motorcycle. I understand where you are coming from, but remember, the Stromer won't work for everyone. A low power electric bike will not work for people in a very hilly area. Here in California, we need power to climb the hills...

Cost-Benefit Comparison: High Speed Suspension for Electric Bikes ("CA Motorized Cycle")

True, it is really preference on which shocks you buy. The fox will probably be slightly more responsive and last longer. The rock shox will be less responsive and not last as long. Some fox shocks have remotes to wirelessly control the sensitivity. The suspension from the 5 is nice, and the...

I think that the sport has spring shocks in the front, not sure though.

Fox has always been miles ahead, so you will get much better performance. The fox shocks are more expensive, but they will serve you much longer

I would get the bike with the correct electronics for you, and eventually stitch out the shocks with fox

Need help with Haibike, M1 spitzing, stealth, optibike, Stromer, focus, or grace e bikes

Yes because M1 isn't big in this area. M1 is a huge company in Europe, but hasn't taken off in the US. But it is clear it will one day because of how good it is

Sorry, i have no contact with M1. I wish I could get a commission for selling bikes, trust me, but I dont. I've been very interested in the electric bikes, and I'm one of the people that enjoys talking about my interests. You may not feel the same, but in no way am I a jackass. After all, I've...

Need help with Haibike, M1 spitzing, stealth, optibike, Stromer, focus, or grace e bikes

The M1 is such a good bike. You are trying to make me personally offended by claiming this thread made you dislike a good product. 45 MPH, 120 nm of torque, 60+ miles, and around 58 pounds. Do you really have a reason to dislike the bike? No. You may dislike me, but what's the point? I've been...

Actually, Mike helped me a lot. Instead of doing something negative with yor time, go learn a thing or 2 yourself. All you do is try and put others down. You should really enjoy the usefulness of these forums, but I guess you are incapable of that. Possibly because you are so negative. I've...
