    Rent Battery In Europe

My wife and I own two Stromers. We are in the process of trying to figure out how to get our bikes over to Europe from Canada (at this point in time, it is only a dream!) Has anyone tried renting Stromer batteries while over in Europe?

    ST1x Advice

Re bluecats statement re psi - I've found a big difference in performance - speed and agility - by simple keeping my tires inflated to the maximum suggest psi. This will make your ride a bit more rough however. I do think that the larger tires will "roll" better and more efficiently over bumps...

    ST1x Advice

I'm a ST2 owner and just purchased a ST1X for my wife. Any other opinions about shocks for this bike. I have them for my ST2 and they make a huge difference to my ride. Thinking of going the seat post shock route as well, but would like something upfront.

(Refund Refused/More Issues) My Experience - Brand New Stromer. 3 months of ownership, 2 months of repairs.

I agree. As many have stated on these forums, having a reliable mechanic is key for most if not all electric bikes! Paying a bit extra to go through a legit Stromer store is worth the few extra dollars on the front end in my opinion.

    Changing Brakes on ST2

Thinking of changing up my current ST2 brake system to something a bit more substantial. 4 piston and larger rotors perhaps... And suggestions and words of wisdom would be welcome.

    Why buying a Stromer?

That is indeed impressive. My measly 20,000 kms makes me seem very inadequate in comparison. But its always good to have goals! Thanks for sharing!!

(Refund Refused/More Issues) My Experience - Brand New Stromer. 3 months of ownership, 2 months of repairs.

In my case, my dealer ate the labour and parts as per the warranty as well. They replaced both the motor and controller. The bike runs better than new. I couldn't be happier. I have nothing for praise for both my dealer and Stromer since I changed dealers. The place I originally bought it...

(Refund Refused/More Issues) My Experience - Brand New Stromer. 3 months of ownership, 2 months of repairs.

Just wanted to pass along my recent experience with the Stromer warranty. I had a poltergeist in my bike - motor randomly running at top speed - very exciting to say the least! When I went to my dealer, Mike from Stromer shipped a new motor and controller right away. 2 weeks later my ST2 is as...

    Stromer commuters

Welcome to the club Eric! Bought my ST2 almost 2 years ago. Changed my world! Rarely drive my car any more... I feel like a 12-year old every morning when I ride my bike into work up here on Vancouver Island. You're right it is a blast! The feeling doesn't wear off I assure you!

    Stromer commuters

I live on Vancouver island where we are lucky to have many dedicated bike roads. Many are old, converted railway lines that have very gradual grades and great hard-packed surfaces. This allows the cyclist the option to travel up and down the island without using major road ways for the most...

    The new Stromer ST5

For those of lucky enough to have gotten your hands on a ST5 maybe you can tell me if the ST5 looks like it will have the same set up for the trailer attachment as the ST2?... I have a Bob's Ibex and recently added on the ST2 plate and Bob's Nutz to it. Works great. I really want to be able to...

Known Issues & Problems with Stromer Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

First thing I did. Rebooted and removed battery. Went home and put in my spare battery just in case. I'm worried that the motor is pooched. Its in the shop waiting to hear back from Stromer. Hopefully it won't take too long! I'm having withdrawals.

Known Issues & Problems with Stromer Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Was happily riding home yesterday on my ST2 when my motor literally stopped! Riding 15kms home with no power really made me realize how heavy these bikes, are I tell you! Omni is showing a "device error". Taking it into the shop today. Keeping my fingers crossed. The question I'm asking my...

    The new Stromer ST5

Its pretty obviously that the ebike is still a relatively new technology - incurring the resultant growing pains. There are going to be bugs to work out. After reading this thread it does make me think that I will hold off on the ST5 until these bugs are worked out, however. And who knows, maybe...

RE: Painting Carbon Forks I'm about to repaint my carbo forks and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me before I do this. (I have them off so thought this would be a good time to spruce them up) Besides taking off the clear coat protective layer I do think painting this is pretty...
