If I go the mail order route, I thought that I might have it shipped to a local bicycle shop (LBS) and have them unbox and assemble and fit me to the bike. I hope to establish a relationship with the LBS. I don't mind assembly, but have never done it for an electric bike.

any resistance from local bike shops to work on Biktrix ? The "not bought here" syndrome.
