2017 Elite with Big Ben tires: Tuffy or Slime needed?

Thank you Ravi and mrgold for the suggestions. My local shop doesn't add liners but they said they'll do it for free with the assembly if I bring the liners. They also suggested adding something called "innertube" for puncture protection from the sides. Do you think both of these'll make the...

2017 Elite with Big Ben tires: Tuffy or Slime needed?

Thank you all. I read somewhere on the forum that Tuffy liner can cause pinch flats and damage the tube from the inside. Any advice how to avoid the damage? I'll be driving 95% on city roads but with lots of potholes.

I was searching for stromer assembly and couldn't find any videos so I posted here. I should have gone with the term unboxing. Thank you !! As for assembly, I called some of the local ebikes stores for assembly and they'll charge $50 for full assembly, adjustment and tuneup. Called a moving...

So I got my Elite today and it looks beautiful! But it came un-assembled without any toolkit and I have no idea how to assemble it. I don't have any toolkit and saw this post where one user suggested (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) while another commented a list of tools he has. I have...

2017 Elite with Big Ben tires: Tuffy or Slime needed?

tenroz: If you are talking about this, the reviews from customers and mtbr don't look encouraging. Thanks for mentioning it though, I'll use it in future if the reviews are favorable. rich c: That is a good point. My only concern is time. Once the classes start, I'll barely have time to sleep...

2017 Elite with Big Ben tires: Tuffy or Slime needed?

I recently bought a 2017 Elite on ebay. Since there is a lot of construction going on on campus, I was thinking about using Tuffy or Slime. Will they be any useful in preventing flats given that the tires already have puncture guard? If yes, which one would you recommend? Thanks.

    ST1T vs ST1 Platinum 2017

Thanks @Ravi Kempaiah ! The best deal I could find for Stromer ST1-X is $3500. Being a college student, I can't afford it. The only choices I have are ST1-T, ST1 Platinum and ST1 Elite 2017. Rajan.

    ST1T vs ST1 Platinum 2017

Thank you for the comment. For some reason the nominal output is wrongly listed on EBR review for ST1T as 250W. I created a table summarizing the differences (attached below). Also, apart from cost I'd like to know your recommendations for my setting: I am a student currently, most of the...

    ST1T vs ST1 Platinum 2017

Just came across ST1T and ST1 Platinum 2017 sale. They told they'll assemble the bike with the most recent components. The price is same ($2351). Another shop is selling Platinum 2018 for $2100 ? I am confused which one to choose and if this is a good deal. Any suggestions would be helpful.
