Ok so I put a charge into the battery and went for a short shakedown cruise around the block. The bike rides great with smooth power from that torque sensor. The chain was slapping around quite a bit especially in the higher gears. Looking at it I can see that it is at least 5 links too long...

Yes I didn’t really like the look of the tread pattern on those Kendal’s and had it in my mind that I would switch to Schwalbe Big Apples. The no names he has on there now are wider than the Kendra’s or the Schwalbe and I do like the look.

Yeah, these are not Kenda tires. Small item but the plastic protective cap that sits where the power wires go into the axle is missing.
