I love my new Raleigh Retroglide. I want to use it for errands and especially grocery shopping, but I am having trouble finding good size panniers that will fit securely on the thick tubing of the welded-on rear cargo rack. Any ideas? I tri d the Linus roll up ones but the snaps are too short...

Yes, and thanks......I wanted to stay around 2K. That Raleigh was really nice and felt safe and I can have them add a "boost" button that works like a throttle if I want. I'm 5"2 and have a short torso. The laid back seat really helps I think to make it a good fit. I don't see the 2028...

I looked at the Townie Go online. It's a bit more than I want to spend for my first experience. What do you think of the Blix Aveny low step? I wanted to keep it under 2k if possible, not much more.
