I played with one of these 2-cycle gas kits back in the 90's; t'was real garbage, and annoying/embarrassing as hell to ride due to the noise and smoke. And the friction drive consists of a small roller that is a joke in the rain and does indeed chew through tires. I think I rode it twice. IMO...
