    BikesDirect was on it. Emailed them Sunday night and they got in touch with me Monday morning. I ordered the part and I had it yesterday, Thursday in my hands. Ready for the weekend ride. I will order the hanger too, always good to have one on hand.

    Regarding Spare batteries, I got mine from the local dealer as I couldn't wait for them being available on BikesDirect. Paid around $630 for it. You have to get it from a local dealer as they can not be shipped by the normal carrier due to the fire danger.

    The installation was tight. Regarding the 2k, 98% Trails. Even took the bike up to Oregon for single track ridding.

    Just hit 2K miles on my Motobecane E-Hal. Realy enjoy the bike and it's holding up very well. Some of the upgrades that I did was adding an XT SI2 derailer and a drop seat post. Lots of fun!

    Did not know that they do have tubs in them. I might change it at a later time. For now, I am very happy the way the bike handles. Our terrain is single track, fire roads, and large gravel paths. We do have larger rocks to conquer, but the tires handle those conditions very well.
