Yes, the FS is slightly heavy. I take off the battery and the seat post before mounting it on my bike rack. Here's a pic of the Rocket out at Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah from yesterday. That's the Colorado river in back, 2000 ft down.

Back from a 2 week trip. Cruised the New River Trail in Virginia and the NCR Trail in Maryland. Great riding, even with the 2 flat tires on the New River Trail. Notice I now have fenders on The Rocket. Stops most of the mud from hitting my back and my face.

Here it is with the hydraulic brakes and plenty of mud. Some mud on me too. (Did the Pond trail twice this morning.) I've even mounted the front headlight, though I do not anticipate riding after dark. Anyone have a suggestion for fenders that would fit?

Nope, you are right and I am wrong. Looks like they put mechanical rather than hydraulic brakes on it. I need to look into upgrading. Thanks!

The FS comes standard with hydraulic disc brakes and I am glad it does. I've already had to make a couple power stops to not get run over by cars. And yes, I am enjoying it!

Yes, the tires are different. I blew out the back tire in less than 2 weeks by riding over large, sharp rocks. Now my wife just can't stand that the tires are different and insists that I get a tire for the front that matches the rear. :)

Here it is with the Wren and a couple extras I added: 20A battery, back cargo shelf, noseless seat, and handlebars raised with a MTB adjustable extension. Fun to ride even with a temperature of 92F!

Yes, the tires were an option. Great ride yesterday, the full suspension a tremendous difference over the Evelo hardtail I had. I'll be back out again this morning.

So I peeled off the bubble wrap, took it out of the box, programmed the Display, charged up the battery, and actually got to ride it for 5 minutes this morning.

Bike arrived last evening.

Very nice bike. Mine should be here...well, Purolator said today. But it was in Minnesota this morning so I won't be waiting by the door all night for it. Hopefully by Friday.
