Can't change motor tuning via Omni App

I believe the application functionality is dependent on the App and ST2 both connecting to "back end" servers AND that the two are linked on those servers. When you purchase an ST2 it needs to be tied to your cell number on these back end servers in order for them to communicate. When I had a...

wow! this forum not friendly :(

BTW, do you know the difference between the Elite and Platinum ST1 models? The Elite has a lower top speed but more torque for hills. I have the St1 Platinum.

wow! this forum not friendly :(

Even if it is a 2013 model, it may have sat at the dealer for some time before being sold. The battery might be quite good but the only way to tell would be to fully charge it and ride it to see what the range is like. I have a 2014 St1 with 3 batteries and they are all working nearly like...

wow! this forum not friendly :(

The ST1 is a great bike. If it is used I think the main concern would be the battery. There is a limited number of charges that the battery is good for and I seem to remember someone mentioning that the chemistry is good for about 3 years. The amount of charge the battery can hold will...

Any suggestions on comfortable pedals ?

LOL! Yes, the Ergon PC2 are very comfortable and, yes, they look rather dorky... I had them on my ST1.

    Racktime bags

Just upgraded from the ST1 to ST2 and found a new Racktime Trunk Bag. It seems that the license arrangement between Racktime and Ortleib has expired. I found this one at Rose Bikes in Germany, https://www.rosebikes.com/article/racktime-talis-trunk-bag/aid:856163.

Ordering an ST1 - should I add City Kit?

I have the City Kit and love it. The fenders are very sturdy and just look right on the ST1.

    Thule easy fold 9032

The ramps definitely make it easier to get the bike onto the rack. However, they are pretty flimsy so you have to be careful to line the bike up on the ramp straight. If it is off center the ramp will flex and could lead to an accidental dumping of the bike. That said, I don't find it...

Body Float / Thudbuster for ST2

+1 on the BodyFloat. I love mine on my St1.

How hard to install Body Float seat post?

The installation is very easy. The instructions to perform the adjustment are clear but I certainly benefitted from having Charlie to the fitting and setup. I understand a hand adjustable screw is in the works to allow adjustment during a ride.

The car is a Fiat 500e that is all electric.

    Electric Bike Carrier Racks

No, I don't think the clamp will open wide enough to accommodate the downtube carrying the battery. I clamp it to the top tube or the seatpost.

    Racktime bags

I looked at the Ortleib site and believe the rack clips at the top of the panniers should be able to connect under the trunk bag since the Racktime bag clips into the center brackets and not the tubes.

    Racktime bags

I got this one (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) and it snaps right in to the city kit rack on my ST1.

    Any upgrades to Stromer ST1?

The city kit is remarkably light. I didn't notice a difference adding it. Storing my lock and cable in the trunk bag mounted to the city kit is another story...
