So I figured out that the reason the bolt has a round edge at the top and you cannot get a wrench in there is because the edge is the flange on the bottom of the bolt and when screwed into the fork upside down, is messing us up. I think TForan had same issue.

And one minute after posting that, the charger light turned green!!!!! And I'm off tomorrow!!

If I remember correctly, I was able to loosen it with pliers then just hand loosened it out. All my wrenches were too thick to get in under the circular piece on top of the bolt. It seemed to me that the bolt was upside down in the bottom of the fork so I turned it "right side up" and was then...

Is it not strange that there are different types of connections on both sides? Is that just Chinese manufacturing or is there a reason for that?

The one on the right uses allen. Here is a side picture of the one on the left. And of course the right and left is when looking down on the fork with bike upside down.

My guess is that the front fender side brackets screw into the bottom of the fork. But as you can see, the screw on the right can be screwed off but the screw on the left is "not there" or pushed down into the fork. Here is a picture of the underside of the fork.

Assembly was going well until I tried to put on the front fender. Literally have no idea how to do it. The bolt on the screw will not tighten at all. It gets stuck after a few turns. And I cannot figure out where to screw the side brackets onto the fork.

I just figured out that if you take the battery off the bike, it makes it a little lighter and easier to work on. I'm a genius!!!!!!

Actually, these look good. Maybe I'll go 26x3.5 instead of 26x3. Great - more research to do......

I was thinking about going with a 26x3 road tire to replace the stock tires. Roshan said I could add those to my Ultra rims. Thoughts?

For the past week, my FedEx tracker has shown it would be here Monday, October 16. However, my Ultra was loaded on the truck just one city away at 6:05am this morning and the tracker changed to arriving today. But it never showed. I guess they loaded the truck for their Monday deliveries. Dang it!!!

We need a solid phone holder and a mirror as well.
