A different kind of intermittent power issue

That is a discouraging graph! While I have you guys here, what device are you using to limit the charge to 80%? I have that big 52v battery on my CCS and don't want this happening again!

A different kind of intermittent power issue

Indeed you are right, it's the 10.4. Is there any way to test the battery? If I now live in a world of 13 mile range, it would be good to know and stop troubleshooting in vain.

A different kind of intermittent power issue

I’m not in front of it at the moment but I think the battery is the 17 not 10. When it cut out at 13 miles I still had 3 bars of battery left. The other time I had 2. A week earlier I did 28 miles without issue., so this is a drastic and sudden change in behavior. I wouldn’t be surprised if...

A different kind of intermittent power issue

Sorry if that was unclear. I generally ride at 1-2 with moments of 3. I get a consistent 40 miles on this bike. Both the cases above were on a route I’ve done hundreds of times. The hunch about 3/s was from cycling through speeds after the reset. There was plenty of battery left in both cases.

A different kind of intermittent power issue

My original Cross Current purchased in 2017 is having an issue. My past two rides, the power assist has cut off mid ride. Here are some details: Ride 1: Power assist cut off around 20 miles into my ride. I turned off the bike, turned it back on and it rode another 5 miles before it cuts off...

    On-going Error 30 on CCS

Actually I did learn one thing - to check the advanced display info (Power + up) which blinks on for a second. Compared to what the person in that older thread said, I essentially have 0's across the board. Here is an image of the display. 2ZR2a9k.jpg

    On-going Error 30 on CCS

Thanks for that link, I hadn't seen that one before. Read through it, however, and no new info.

    On-going Error 30 on CCS

I've been working with Juiced support for a few weeks now, but am seeing if anyone here has some new suggestions for me to try. I've got a 6 month old CCS. Three weeks ago I got an Error 30 upon turning on the bike. Juiced Support had me: Reset the battery Unplug all connections and check /...

Error 30 after ride in the rain

Where on the bike is the controller? Their diagram makes it seem like it's in the tube? How do I get to it and check it?

Error 30 after ride in the rain

Here is what I have tried now: * Removed rear wheel, checked the torque sensor, did the nickel test. * Unplugged all cables, removed wiring harness. Sprayed with compressed air and applied ACF50 to everything. * Battery reset Still getting error 30. Support is telling me to check the...

Error 30 after ride in the rain

Did you ever figure this out? I'm getting Error 30 too. I unplugged all the 4-1 and that didn't help. No rain riding here either. Everything was fine during my 50 miles last weekend. I've emailed support already but hoping someone here might know a quick answer. Nice day here in LA and want to...

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

So I lubed the pedals and went for a ride that takes me sort of close to my bike shop. The sound was still there so I decided to drop by. They did a quick look and asked to keep the bike for a day. They just called and their conclusion is that they can't find the source and don't want to open...

Nope but lubing the pedals is an easy thing to try.

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

Hey all - The skipping gear issue got fixed by the bike shop so that's all good. The front fender banging finally annoyed me to the point that I just removed the darn thing. But it turns out the sound I was hearing wasn't just from the fender. Every time I pedal there is a creaking sound. It...

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

I checked each chain link and all seemed to move. I literally just went link to link and moved it up and down. Is that what I am checking for? What would a partially separated link look like?

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

Wow. I got the charger and they sent me the wrong one!!! Sent the old style without the adaptor. I now understand peoples frustration with Juiced.

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

Thanks for the help everyone. My prior enthusiasm for Juiced support has diminished. They still haven’t shipped the charger adapter despite the order going through days ago. Support now said they have pulled it from the warehouse to ship on Monday. Confused why that took so long. They shipped...

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

After a year and a few thousand miles on my Cross Current I just took delivery of a new CCS! Very excited and rode it home yesterday. The bike shop said they couldn't find an adaptor to go form the DC charging port to the 3 prong port of the 52v 19.2. I called Juiced from the bike shop and...

Anyone go from a CC to the CCS? Thoughts and selling used CC.

I've had my Crosscurrent for almost a year now and can not believe how much I love it. Even after this much time I get such joy out of my bike, it's unlike anything I've ever owned. I bike 60-100 a week, often getting 40 miles per charge on adventures through Los Angeles. I've had a few minor...
