    New owner

Congrats on your new ride @Bobkat9! The max speed retains it memory on my controller. I would inquire with Teo if yours is not. Maybe the newer controllers have this as a safety precaution or something.

    My Teo review, updated

I believe the physical size is identical. Sorry, I only took pictures of the square wave controller. I'm pretty sure all of the connections were the same as well.

    My Teo review, updated

I hear what you are saying Dan. The power curve is awful on that particular square wave controller. PAS1 puts out too much power IMO. What I did find interesting on it though, is that if you use the "walk" mode, it was quite gentle. It does not launch like PAS1. So I think its possible for...

    Téo full suspension

Hmmm. Possibly I got to swap because I asked last year? I really can't say. I'm not sure what configuration the 750w is for the new bikes. I'm assuming it is the sine wave controller, unless they have a new power curve for their square wave. I just can't imagine many people liking the one I...

    Téo full suspension

Hi Dan, Yes Benoit sent me the new 750w sine wave controllers. He actually sent 2 of them to me last year, but those weren't fully compatible. The speedo would not read correctly, and they didn't work with the xe/xd front headlight. I sent those back to him, and he called the supplier to get...

    Téo full suspension

Hi @CanCD Not sure of the legalities, but Teo does offer the 750w in Canada. I also bought the 500w bike thinking it was the 750w. I emailed Benoit about this, and I have to say, his response was professional and cooperative in straightening things out. I completed the 750w swap last year...

    Luna Lander fork?

Worth every penny for riding off road. On road you probably wont notice much of course. They changed the stance of the bike a bit, which I like. It feels like you can hit the bumps a little more aggressively. Kind of like the bike has a better approach angle. They are longer. I compared...

    My Teo review, updated

Hi Dan. Have you tried any separate tests with just you riding on each of the bikes (Teo/Rad/M2S) and go up the same hill to see how each bike does? To be a fair test I would think you would want to have similar weight riders, and have similar power you are putting to the pedals etc. I'm...

    750W, new model?

So nice to see you on here Benoit!! Thanks for replying so quickly:) So a couple more questions if you don't mind answering. Do the 2017's have the sine wave controller? You mention that the square wave is more powerful on the start...Does this mean it has more torque than the sine wave...

    750W, new model?

Hmmm. Well if you have first hand experience that the Rad and the M2S outclimb the Teo then there must be a reason for it. I've emailed Benoit to get some clarification. I'm hoping he will post some answers to our questions.

    Updated Téo models for 2018?

I agree 100% Glad you brought it up. Great bike! Love it! But Teo is really falling short on the website and with communication, at least with me. I know some of you have had positive communications, and that's great!:) Sadly, mine have not. Most of my correspondence with them have been...

    Broke the handlebar extender

Ya I think I'll wait and see if maybe he gets a Canadian distributor or lowers the shipping.

    Broke the handlebar extender

Agreed. Going to try a couple different mounts and see if there's something I like. I checked out the shipping on the 1859 NW throttle attachment. Yes, shipping to Canada was a bit much for such a small item. $24.95 US. Still sitting on the fence....

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

Will do. Hoping Benoit will be able to get something from the manufacturer.

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

Funny you mention that. That is exactly.what I plan on doing. I've already emailed Benoit about a shop drawing or some kind of literature on our controller. He told me he is getting in touch with his supplier as he didnt know the make or model of it. Hopefully get some answers soon. The...

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

Honestly I think all the Teo's have the same motor. It just doesnt make sense to me that they couldn't be. An easy way to check is to go for a ride and do a couple tests with someone with a 2016 or 2018. See if they are comparable. Stephane test rode the 2017 Teo,(500w) and I don't recall...

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

Correct. The Luna are designed for a 160mm rotor and the 2017 Teo disc brakes bolted on with no adapter needed. That would be a nice upgrade for the 2018 even if it was just the front rotor:)

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

Pretty sure the Teo has 160's. Maybe the 2018 Teo's come with 180mm and that's one of the upgrades? The Teo site could be wrong. I think they are trying to clean it up but imo it still needs a lot of work. It also states the large limited is 30 kg and we now know that's not correct. If the...

    Chain rub

Haven't heard any Teo owners mention the chain rubbing, but it's a good question to ask.:) Had some fender rubs but they were a pretty easy fix.
