Ok...we'll let me state that this seems to be just a "you" issue with the bike...and not one with previous turbo owners. You put a smaller motor and battery on a bike...the Vado is what your gonna get. You put a smaller battery and motor on any electric bike...which there's plenty of them out...

Buy a Stromer ST whichever. It's pretty obvious where Specialized got their idea from...except for the center drive motor. And to quote e-wheels...you know you'll have the same battery for years to come. I think this is Stromers 6th year..same battery!!!

I agree completely, but everyone I spoke too from specialized...including salesmen...said why don't you just buy a Vado...which is even more scary. They're pushing you into their new line...and god knows how long they'll keep that one line running???? Please though...do your research as well...

Thanks for all that....but now makes me more nervous about the battery issue and replacement. I can deal with the controller issue and understand about the rear hub and suspension...but now there will be chain issues more often than their were spoke issues with the hub...so damn if you do, damn...
