    Scratches on Yamaha LCD

Just to follow up on this. I bought the Novus 3-part plastic polish/scratch remover and used it on the display. It removed about 90% of the scratches that I had, and caused no damage.

    Recommendations Hitch Bike Rack

We use this. Works great so far. We have fenders on our Haibike trekking bikes. https://hollywoodracks.com/products/sport-rider-electric-bike-hitch-rack?variant=15862468102 We actually use the non ebike version since our ebikes are <50 lbs with battery removed. Was by far the most...

    Scratches on Yamaha LCD

Can anyone recommend a buffing compound of some sort that would work to remove some fine (not deep) scratches off of the plastic LCD display. Seems these things should be made with gorilla glass like many smartphones to avoid scratches when simply carrying it in one's pocket.

    Warranty Wording

Thanks for everyone's replies to confirm that Currie is the warranty for Haibike in the U.S. @DanInStPete the extended warranty is via by credit card company (Chase), they provide an extra year of warranty once I register and provide the written U.S. warranty for their records.

    Warranty Wording

Hi, Does anyone know where I can download the written warranty for Haibikes sold in the U.S.? I am getting an extended warranty, and the company requires a copy of the manufacturer warranty. I found this: (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) But I am not clear on the relationship between...

Spare tube for Sduro Trekking 5.0

Thanks for the replies. The tire has 700-40C on the side, and 42-622. Based on that, I bought this tube (Continental), as it was much cheaper then ordering from Schwalbe.com. Seems to be fine quality based on reviews I found, but I guess time will tell once I use it...

Spare tube for Sduro Trekking 5.0

Sorry for the ignorant question, as we are new to owning and having to fix bikes :). Got our first flat today, which we will repair, not a big deal. But I think I would like to get a spare tube to carry as it is much each then trying to repair while in the middle of a long trip. The tube...

    U-Lock for SDURO Trekking

Anyone have a good recommendation for a U-Lock that will accommodate this bike well? Ideally can lock the frame and back wheel to a post. I was looking at the Kryptonite Mini-7, it has an interior size of 3.25" x 7". Is this adequate to lock the frame/rear wheel/post? Seems it might be small...

Buying a bike on-line and wanting a local shop to do warranty service

I do in fact own my own business, and deal with warranty issues on our products. The thought of pushing the responsibility onto a dealer, and not reimbursing them, has never crossed my mind in 9 years. I didn't even think it was an option! And in reality, it shouldn't be.

Buying a bike on-line and wanting a local shop to do warranty service

@Scooteretti, also thanks for participating in this. No question, you as a dealer, should not lose money on warranty work. That warranty was built into the price from the manufacturer, not the dealer (unless you offer something additional). The fact you are willing to not charge even your...

    Haibike dealer support is terrible.

Just to cross post my $.02 about all this warranty stuff..... https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/buying-a-bike-on-line-and-wanting-a-local-shop-to-do-warranty-service.13436/

Buying a bike on-line and wanting a local shop to do warranty service

I see the following issues with all the warranty items. Flame me if you want :). The below is only my view being in the U.S. Outside of the U.S. I do not imply to know anything about. When a bike is purchased new (from any dealer), let's use Haibike as an example, Haibike states they provide...
