I was riding my Riese and Muller Supercharger2 pedelec along a Lomita Drive, a road between Mill valley and Corte Madera, when this Karen was making gestures at me, angry, gesticulating, I ignored him listening to my music but did glance at the sign marking the bike path and sign said "no...

A map of free charging outlets in the Bay Area?

Anyone know of a map that providers eBikers with the location of free charging outlets? I often take long rides on the weekend and would love to plan a rest at a place where I can also charge my bike. A map would be great, especially in eBike rich Bay Area.

When out of the frame, batteries individually charged overnight and power indicator showed full charge, but when placed in the frame it is showing...

    Bosch's Ebike connect

What I like about this app is that it gives me access to data on how much power I exerted as compared to how much I was assisted. Unfortunately the app wants continuous access to my locations and doesnt allow iphone option to have access to my location only when app is in use. Bosch needs to...

    E-bike charging stations

I heard that such stations exist in Europe, but I am not aware of e-bike charging stations in the USA. Wouldnt it be nice if e-bike charging stations are part of the electric charging car networks that are being built? I dont know how practical it would be, but it is certainly something that...

The first 1200 miles on Riese and Muller Supercharger 2

I purchased my Supercharger 2, Touring, HS with derailleur on June 14 that and have been riding it consistently over the past 2 months. I always wanted to have an e-bike, ever since cruising along Southern France on rented e-bikes 10 years ago but somehow never pulled the trigger. Perhaps...

Does air quality index make a difference if you bike or not?

I am curious about your opinions. California has many fires and air quality index is 58 in San Francisco today. New Delhi is often more than 100. Do you pay attention to the air quality and whether you should bicycle or not?

New Bosch PowerTube 625 doesnt fit in Supercharger2

Why? Why make a new battery that you cant swap in the current bikes. Very disappointing. I guess the technology didn't advance enough to make the PowerTube625 the same size as 500. I do hope that as battery density increases, we can benefit by improving our range without having to buy new bikes.

    Running out of battery.....

So I ran out of battery. I biked for 65 miles, around the bay area, hills, and against 10 miles/hour winds on part of the trip back to San Francisco, supercharger2 with two 500Wh batteries. The batteries ran out of juice at 4% and I had to walk the last 2 miles home. Now I am itching to purchase...

    Happy Father's Day to all!!

I biked 40 miles from Ashbury Heights to San Andrea Trail and back. While biking, my three children called to face time. The iPhone holder from Quad lock was handy. While I watched ahead, they watched me riding up the hills of foggy San Bruno mountain.

Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I live in San Francisco and wanted to won e-bike since 10 years ago when I first tried e-bikes riding around French villages in the Southern France.
