    Ecotric 26 fattie Display ?

Hey gang....been awhile. I have been riding my fattie beach surf 26er for a few years ( almost 2k mi) and had my first real issue ( battery issue was a battery issue) The S900 always develops a mild moisture "glaze" if I do an early morning ride, however after this recent cold snap it developed...

Specialized to go to Direct to Customer business model.

Interesting. Fender has gone this route as have others. They must feel their dealers are not providing the numbers or market share they need. Of course they, like other mfgs, couldn't ship. Crazy times for traditional business.

Ecotric 20" fat tire folder ( dolphin step through)

So my wife's Dolphin quit working 2 days ago. It has all the symptoms of a brake sensor failure ( everything lights up on PAS controller (A10) but nothing works, throttle, pas, walk mode). I notified Ecotric by email, looked at the YouTube and disconnected my brake sensors at the controller. I...

    Brooks Flyer Leather Bike Seat

I am selling my hardly used Brooks Flyer because the seat rails were not long enough to move the seat back without purchasing an off set seat post. My wife was not on-board with the additional $50 on top of the $100 for the seat. Your gain (: The seat is $75 + exact postage. If you have a UPS...

eBikepacking range with trailer vs on-board packs

So I really want to give bikebacking a go. These would be max 3 day 90 mi affairs or 2 @ 60mi. I have two 36v 13ah batteries for my Fat tire. I am looking at a B.O.B. style trailer( Coho) and wondering what range I can expect. These trips would be primary on the rails2trails system and a kinda...

    Booster Battery

I'm looking to use a 36v 10ah Lipo "block" as a booster battery for my wifes 20" folder bike. Its my understanding ,as long as both batteries are toped off, I can simply run the discharge off the booster to the charge port of the bikes stock battery ( parallel ). Naturally I would have to adapt...

Brooks Flyer and the offset seatpost.

I am looking to move my Brooks seat back just a tad. I am already max adjusted with the short rails on the seat. Anyone try the 20mm off-set post? I could go 40mm for about twice the price but I'm pretty sure 25mm is the most I would need, but 20 would suffice. Any thoughts?

    Gifted charging system

No doubt there are some experts out there to tell me if I can repurpose this for a functional use with my 36v LiPo eBike batteries and if so what adaptors do I need? Thanks

    Front End Job

I finally installed the suspension forks I purchased in late November on my Ecotric Fattie 26". The install was easy beans, you simply need to remove the side mount adapter on the calipers since the new forks are a front mount. I also changed the stem mount for more adjustability. So first...

    Call to App designers!!

A battery calculator App ( iPhone/Android)! for eBikes would be useful. Perhaps one exists. I would love to know how long I can expect to travel ( range) by plugging in some variables ( voltage, ah, pedal assist level, speed average). I am new to eBiking but have some basic understanding of...

    Back in the saddle

Hi everyone. Just bought a couple of Ecotric Fatties. My wife has the folding step through and I the Mtn framed 26'er. So far so good, nice to be riding again without knee pain. Hers was new ( Black Friday deal) mine slightly used, with rack and extra battery (sweet) . I am currently waiting for...
