It is a well-known fact, that the gearing on the HS vario models is too short to comfortably reach 45 kph (28mph). I test-rode a 2018 supercharger HS, and at 35 kph, I was spinning around 68 rpm. Stock gearing on the supercharger is 24-26. Biggest gearing (according to the gates site) is 28-24...
