SEL RWD Extended... so like 300+ miles? I really wanted a Limited but those are harder to find and the leases on them are bleh.

Sorry... didn't track this. Was sort of busy looking at the VF-9. The tester guy even let me sit in it. :) I'll make sure to look at it next time.

Fast charged the Ioniq 5 today from 28% to 80% in 15 minutes, up to 92% in 30 minutes. Also saw a VinFast VF-9:

Multiple as long as there is 60 minutes between each session. So... if you can find good EA charges along the way... road trippable.

But they do still have it on leases. It varies from $5k up and I think they might start throwing more incentives as inventory grows.

So just turned in a Y and was going to wait a while before our next EV but got a pretty good deal on an Ioniq 5 lease so I got it... not the Limited trim I wanted but the mid SEL trim. The most interesting thing is I got an extended range model, over 300+ miles so I treat it like an ICE car. I...

Had the opportunity to have a brief chat with Ride1up CEO Daniel Urbino at Electrify Expo

I'm sad I didn't know about this event as it's close enough to me. Could have checked out ebikes and EVs... my 2 favorite things. :)

    Recent Brake Announcement by Lectric

The XP 3.0 models now come with hydraulic brakes and an updated to the controller system to manage power output better. They don't ship until July. I think I will finally get a Lectric... I was looking at the XPremium but now that the XP 3.0 has hydraulic, I will save the money (plus I'm used...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

That actually looks pretty good except it doesn't have a throttle. Looking a light ebike like this with gears and a throttle.

Newer gravel models also have "throttle display"... which is basically a throttle and not sure why R1U doesn't call that out more. Do the non-gravel models also have the throttle?

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Not too worried about catching my buddies... just worried about when we are just going less than 10mph, having to use power to do so. Lots of our biking is just conversations about what happened the previous week. :)

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

@dukeybootie Yeah... I'm not sure about the single speed... and if there is some drag on PAS 0 that's worrisome. My Sport has 7-speeds and I actually use most of them depending on grade and speed (and trying to catch up to my faster bike gang). I also looked at the KBO Hurricane but like...

The single gear is also a concern. I'm used to having multi-gears because I do ride without PAS and it seems I would need PAS to be on more often because of the single gear. Wish I had some place local to try these single speed ebikes out.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

@OrTrek Thanks. I should have clarified that I'm looking at the Gravel edition because of the disc brakes. I have 3 bikes with disc brakes and one of them is mechanical... which now I notice the difference and don't really want to go back. I think the main battery in the Fixie is bigger than...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

@Taylor57 Since you and I have similar tastes in bikes, how are the Roadsters? Trying to decide between that and the Rize Fixie (which is cheaper right now and has hydraulic brakes).

Yep. I see them popping up in strip malls that have the available parking lot space. Also theaters and malls have EV chargers... eventually... there will be charging everywhere.

    Roadster V2 Extended Battery

Weird... I use it on the seat tube on the sport which is large diameter and it works fine. It helps that the bottom rests on the diagonal of the down tube. I even rotate it so I can remove the battery and it's been pretty grippy.

New bike - Turris, a semi off-road touring aka trekking bike - replacement for 500 series?

This might be my Espin Sport replacement. Sort of giving up on the light bike because not many out there with multi-gears. Nothing wrong with my Sport... but it's been a few years and I want to ride something new.
