The battery is always locked into the frame. You have to push the key in and turn it to disarm the lock then you remove the key to pull out the battery. One of the reasons I like this bike is that the battery is hidden and locked into the frame and protected from the weather and thieves.

Somebody else got their new bike, two things I like about the video are the seat is at the proper height and the laughter as they are finding out how fun these bikes can be.

    Where's My XP?

Just be certain to use loctite on the pedals or you may have an unpleasant way to be like a teenager again

I too want them to succeed and do well but maybe not TOO well...if they make too much money they may just retire due to being overworked and tired! When reading through the posts it appears from Lectric's answers to posters that they are working night, day, weekends, and holidays so maybe some...

Known Issues & Problems with Lectric eBikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I was looking at your bike stand again and noticed the the pipe/post on the chainring side has an extra piece of wood that the top bar sits on, can you please post a photo from that side to show what you did? Maybe I won't have to add a union and nipple to make it easier to take apart although I...

Known Issues & Problems with Lectric eBikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I like it and will probably make one since the rectangular frame of the XP means I can't use my bike stand except by using my seatpost. Two things I would change though is to add a 2" nipple to one 90 on the top bar and a union fitting to make it easier to assemble and I would make the uprights...

Yes, $35 is the Amazon price in the States. The $194 is the Amazon Canada price which is why I mostly shop in the States. I once bought a backpack for $38 but the Canadian price was over $600!

Do you have an electrical meter for testing? Have you checked out every connection to see if anything is loose? KevCentral shows in his second video where the controller is, maybe something is loose in there.

The battery is quite a bit taller than the panniers, I bought the Rhinowalk 25L bags from Amazon and they easily hide the battery.

Here is another new video that's good for us that are being rained out or for those that don't have their bikes yet. I think there are more videos for the XP than any other bike except for the Rad Rover bikes.

So I have a "Frankenstein" bike, old headlight but a new 52 tooth crank.

You must have a different generation of XP since your headlight is so different. I just noticed that the white reflective tape I put on the side turns into quite the lightshow with a flash.

What are you using for a headlight?

I have a u-lock as well which is 9" but since I only leave the bike to run into a store I find that a good cable lock is easier to use and gives me many more options to secure the bike. Since there is no front tire quick release I usually just go through the rear tire and the frame before I lock...

Some more videos about our bikes, what I don't like about most videos is the seat is always too low for one's knees. Also many videos don't show using the twist lock on the front handlebar stem or mention or show checking the pedals. We already have had 4 posts about pedals that have fallen off...
