That retaining wall is made of test cylinders, the round things. Those are taken off a concrete truck into a plastic mold, allowed to cure, then broken normally to determine the strength of the concrete. Those were never broken but the plastic mold was removed.
My wife and I rode 25 miles today, all the rural roads near our house. Once again near perfect day, light winds and temps in the low 70’s. We stopped to take a break on a ridge over a larger creek, a picture looking downstream, a bit of a log jam.
We are considering a ride along the Katy Trail in Missouri. We are looking at the area near Jefferson City. Any opinions on the quality of the trail or the best area of it to ride?
We rode 21 miles today. A near perfect day, no wind and about 68 degrees, it would normally be more like 88 this time of year. Because of the light winds we averaged 14.3 miles per hour which is fast for us. A picture at a rural cemetery we took a break at.
I think it’s the same for everybody no matter the size. My biggest complaint is the length of shirts in both the body and sleeves. I often buy talls even though I’m just over 6 feet tall.
My wife and I road 12 miles today to Tennessee Illinois. I shot a picture of the Tennessee Tap, the local bar. It was about 9:00 am. I was surprised it wasn’t open. ;) 🍺
We rode 13 miles today. It’s turning very hot and humid with heat advisories. We finished before it got too bad. We rode through a neighborhood in town and saw this house that had a bad fire. I know someone who lives nearby and he said they are going to fix it. The pile of metal is the...
I road 17 miles today, I couldn’t get my wife to go with, it was very humid. A picture of an off road side by side, technically not road legal but you see them on the roads all the time. Also a picture of a patch of sweet corn. You can see how much shorter it is compared to the field corn in...
We spent two weeks in Ireland this last spring and really liked it. There on business Stefan?
We rode 10 miles today but I didn’t get any pictures. One from our Ireland trip.
My wife and I did 20 miles today. She is starting to stretch out the distant a little. Perfect weather again, three days in a row with light winds, very rare around here. A train we had to stop for.
I generally don’t see a lot of people abusing speeds on e bikes but it happens. We were on vacation in Idaho in Coeur d’ Alene and they had a bike trail and I saw people going about 30 mph on it, one with a bicycle with a small gas engine on it.
