I have the same cramped floor space problem in my shop. I decided to spend the $$ for a Park PRS-30LB. It raises & lowers via a hand crank, or you can use a cordless drill. I bolted it to a leg of my workbench and made it easy to remove if necessary. Takes up very little floor space.

Good price on the Redshift City, but it's only available for seat tube diameters of 30.9 and 31.6mm. Too large for a great many bikes. Also, there is no optional boot to cover the suspension mechanism. This is critical for dusty or wet environments.

Yeah, the Redshift is pricey but in my case, it makes the difference between a 30 mile ride and a 70 mile ride. May not be the same for others though. Less expensive posts may work just as well for others. YMMV.

+1 on the Redshift suspension post. I have them on all 3 of my bikes. I've tried a dozen or more and this one is the best. I also use the Redshift shock stop suspension stem for wrist comfort.

AFAIK, Honda only sells through dealers. There are eBay vendors who sell new ones. Not sure how the warranty works though.

I still I still have my old Honda EX750 from the early 1980's. Still starts on the first pull and quiet enough where you can have a normal conversation with it running next to you. I actually prefer using it rather than my Honda EU2000i for short remote electrical needs.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, it's synthetic gasoline and not meant for use in diesel engines. I don't use it in my diesel generator, just the small gas portable, as well as my other small gas engines.
