Battery covers are available, p/n 998612500 and run $9. Battery is the Bosch horizontal Powertube 500wh, a 400wh can be used too if you need to save some weight or money.

It's not their first hub motor, they used ebikemotion stuff on models in the past. As a Cannondale dealer, kinda bummed about the Bafang situation. Curious to see the battery safety rating and what they plan on doing from a service and warranty standpoint.

200psi is way to low for 140kg, I believe the shock will say max pressure but should be around 300psi I think. the front fork has a chart for approx rider weight and PSI range. Rule of thumb for the rear shock is 10-15% of the weight in lbs, in psi. So 100lbs=115psi ish. Rohloff bike? Rear...

Depends on their business structure. Is it a flat "software update" fee? Or is it $75/hr (too low) with a 1hr min? Agreed that it's steep for and update but with the amount of bikes getting pumped into other markets it's somewhat understandable businesses want to be protective of revenue streams...

I think your expectations should come back to reality a little bit. Granted the warranty process in the cycling industry is a bit ass backwards, but the manufacture covering parts only is unfortunately the norm. Whether the shop wants to charge you for their time is their own business decision...
