The difference is sondors doesn’t have the track record or history that Trek does. Most of what we have seen is a new company rough around the edges and lacking on transparency.

i think folks are feeling mislead. They invested a non-trivial amount of money with a time line in mind. If Sondors wasn't able to meet those time lines, consumers could have taken their capital elsewhere. Had sondors communicated that openly, maybe some customers take their money elsewhere?
