Good job. How's the power up hills and such? I don't think the motors have to by sync'd by any degree. The laggard will just be kind of freewheeling. As long as your mind can keep track of what's going on, you should be alright:)

The Velocity Dually rims showed up. Nice. Put a 2.35 tire on it to see how it would look, from the 30mm id rim on the Como to the 39mm id rim of the velocity, it only pushed the sidewall out little less than .1" or couple mm. I don't think the Velocity is up to pulling a 2000w nom 5000w max...

I always thought it was weird to go into a motorcycle dealer and see ebikes. Lot of variation between countries. The bike had a bracket over the top bar to hold two water bottles, one each side. Pretty slick. Had to ask what it was.

It's in the Giant subforum. Somebody speculated the chinese competition and the taste of the american people for their flavor. The bike I rode even had a dropper post, first in my experience. Nice, but not needed. The pedals were top notch also, very nice stuff.

Bought the park tool clamping spoke holder to keep the spokes from turning when tightening. Works like a charm. It works on spokes up to 13 ga and I had some 12 ga. So take it apart and get the file out. Now works on 12 ga spokes:)

Input your measurements then play with the rim spoke hole offset. Moving it 1 mm only changes the spoke length a couple tenths. That would represent your bend conundrum.

They don't bend that much. Non issue in my book. The spec will be in tenths anyway and you can round up, that will take care of the bend. I went out and checked the two motorcycles I respoked, or loosened all the spokes and retrued the rim, they all toned good. None loose or tight. Side...

Also, keep in mind all our rims are drilled for a 14g nipple. We tend to use Sapim E-Strong spokes with the reduction nipples. 12g at the elbow bend and 13g at the nipple end. The reduction nipples have a 13g thread but the OD is the same as a 12g nipple. I think I understand the spoke to...

I asked for clarification, the guy did say they use the DT Swiss tensionmeter, so whatever 120 kgf converts to on their scale for the spoke he referenced.
