Given the choice between a stick shift and an automatic transmission, I'll take the stick any day unless I live in a high traffic area where grinding the clutch becomes a chore. It's no different with an e-bike.

I don't use one, but we sell them. The most popular is the Wahoo Kickr Bike Shift. It does pretty much everything that the Kickr Bike does except simulate riding up and down grades, and it's $1,000 less.
