bought a gas generator for myLiFePO power station

No comparison! Depeding on your surroundings and power station inputs, consider adding solar. Super inexpensive these days and convenient. If needed, my van will be my power center for the house. 400 AHr LiFePO4 and 440 watts solar; generator if sun doesn't cooperate.

Good luck on your mission. Over the last 7 years I've gone from. 335 to 258; 40 or so to go; although I can't attribute much of it to bike riding. 2990 days straight tracking on My Fitness Pal.

    Panda Express hates vegetarians!

We ate at a Panda Express for the first time Sunday. They hate everybody.

Many moons ago, the US was tipped up to the west. The fruits and nuts rolled to the Pacific Ocean. The strongest, smartest grabbed ahold of the western bank of the Mississippi where they continue to thrive today. I'll have to take your word for the quality of clientele at Walmart. I support...

I joined EBR about 4 years ago. Oil prices were higher about that time. I don't recall, was there a similar string back then? Is this a TDS problem or an oil price problem?

A barrel of crude is 42 gallons. Depending on where you pick the data points, crude went from 60ish to 102ish (looks like its been 112.) So crude is up about $1 per gallon; then it needs to be refined. Locally, our unleaded is up ~$1.30; doesn't appear to be out of line with the the price of...

I'd probably take my car (actually one that got better mileage) rather than van for that type of daily commute. Probably takes some minor planning to not make a special trip to shop. It would seem a 200 mile drive would make Costco a poor choice. We've never been in a Costco; so it is a...

Seriously, is there a crisis because of fuel price? What will it be called if there is a fuel shortage? This is an inconvenience to some, irrelevant to many.

Since a the highest % of our imported oil comes from Canada, that's a pretty mean thing to say about our northern neighbors.

I suppose there are outliers; plus I did indicate increase, not total fuel bill. Search shows "average miles" is 1200 miles per month. We do ~1500 per month in a van that gets 18ish for most of those. Currently paying $1.50 per gal more for diesel $125 more per month. If we did the same with...

It wouldn't suprise me if I learned an extra $80 per month for fuel wasn't a big deal to someone driving a $100k truck.

Anybody else oil a chainsaw manually?

The trick is to lay the saw on its side so the gravity flow doesn't occur. In answer to your question, no to bottle oiling. I had an old (50 years ago) Craftsman beast that had a manual thumb pump for oiling.

We're actually driving our van, 4.99 for diesel. I've read it's much more on the left coast. Hopefully higher prices keep people off the highway. In our old age we prefer less traffic.

    Heavy Rider, need suggestions

My 2020 Gazelle C380 step through didn't appear to mind me at around 310; I'm sure it's happier with me at 260. The bike shop didn't flinch at my weight when I bought it. I also don't ride it hard like I did bikes 50 years ago.
