    Cheers on the 4th!

Cheers to 250 years of keeping USA great! Although we won't be out, hopefully the weather provides (at least) tolerable conditions for riding around you.

Do you wear cologne when you ride?

    Mennen speed stick.

    The transition

If the batteries can supply me in a power outage, there is an advantage. I have not checked, because I don't care (I like my trees shading my house). I've asked those around me with solar if they have batteries also. None do; not an option with installers around here.

Riders and lawmakers must understand the actual regulations and intent....

From another industry, but manufacturers need a set of rules to design around. The only thing Bosch and gang care about is a set of rules so they can get down to business.

Washington State's new ebike laws just passed.

My SIL is a retired teacher. She struggled getting along with her peers at several schools. Who was most likely the problem. An Ebiker continually has issues with roadies. Who is most likely the problem?

Washington State's new ebike laws just passed.

I find interesting that "the pack" rides the MUP around you; it must be very wide. Never seen a group as you describe anywhere but the county roads. It would be uncomfortable to switch draft leads on ours.

Would that be good use of Greenlannd or Northern Alberta when they become 51 and 52?

Washington State's new ebike laws just passed.

Would you wear something like that if the LBS said "I'll give you a bike if you wear this when you ride it."

concerns with ebikes laws and ways to improve them

Ride like a sane, civil person and don't worry about the laws. Been riding for over 60 years and follow the rules of the road; have no idea if there are special ones for bikes. The ones I break on a bike I also break with a motor vehcle (i.e., rolling stops)

concerns with ebikes laws and ways to improve them

These laws are not for enforcement. They are to help assign blame after the incident.

concerns with ebikes laws and ways to improve them

Sounds good as long as it means bike and pedestrian are on same road/walk/path.

    Just for fun...

Curious, has it been sitting an unusually long time? I know newer Sprinter owners that get "love messages" in less than a week. I've never got one from my 2020, but drive it at least every 2 weeks.

Depends on your needs. My brother has been very satisfied with his Ego battery saw. I think it's a 12" bar. I switched to a Husqvarna plug in when I stopped cutting in the field. 100' cord does everything I've needed for over 15 years. 16" bar. Neither do what my early 70s Homelite with 24"...

I have watched many martial arts movies and live fights. Without participating in a fight, by observing, I know it's not a direction I want to go. Becoming an expert in a craft is different than deciding on if you want to start doing it.

Wow, something we agree on. EV suitability is not one of them. I offer that experiencing sex gives better idea if it is something you want to do long term than watching a video; but a video (or any observation technique) can help explore choices. Over the years, I have watched many videos...
