    Tern GSD - Safety Camera - 360 Camera (insta360/DJI/GoPro) OR Cylciq/similar?

I had used cylciq but man having to charge them every day when I would go months with them. Every time I had an issue was when I forgot them. Battery life is so short for GoPro

Sometimes you feel like a mid, sometimes you don't....

yep but 99.99% of ebikes don't have grin. if I had to go that way, that's what I would buy. One tandem company uses them for their retrofitting.

Sometimes you feel like a mid, sometimes you don't....

yes but I am saying its kind of a boogyman thing going on. or as my dogs would say, look a squirrel when there is none. its a lousy argument. The weakest parts of all ebikes are the electronics if you have decent components and do maintence then its not a real issue. But Hub drive bikes are...

Sometimes you feel like a mid, sometimes you don't....

yes they are different. But those are two differnt drive trains. You can swap Shimano and KMC chain parts. I have the 11 speed linkglde setup and you can't reuse the quick links on it. if I have to take a chain off I have to use another quick link. plus they are a real bear to close it takes a...

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

if your going tubeless, get some plumbers silicone grease and grease up the inside of the valve so it does not clog.

Sometimes you feel like a mid, sometimes you don't....

That's the boogyman argument I see so much. All those components have been proven extremely reliable as long as you don't have bargin basment components that you often find on low-end hub drive bikes. After over 50,000 miles on mid-drive bikes, including a tandem ,I have never broken a chain or...

Sometimes you feel like a mid, sometimes you don't....

unless its really cheap components, shifting is long-lasting. I have 20,000 miles on my original derailer. I shift a lot because I used to ride recumbents, but even then, I get over 8k on shifting housing or cable.

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

Crap, the longer rides and maybe the lack of suspension is hurting me, making sitting on the bike painful. its the same saddle and angle and all I have on all my bikes. I have always been able to handle the two 35-minute commutes without padded shorts and maybe an errand or two. But other then...

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

I rode 4 miles on my trek to get some blood drawn, and it's like a new bike. I rode on eco, and I can push far harder. or maybe now I know I can push harder. i think with e bikes they can cause you to not really push hard because you don't need to. Went on a 30 mile ride on the tandem and the...

HSA/FSA Reimbursement For A Bicycle Computer

if you use it with a HRM on a e bike yes but without its not really doing anything but keeping track of what you do. With a power meter, too then it gives you everything. I found my Garmin with just the HRM did pretty good compared to my bosch with the power meter. on a non e bike the garmin and...

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

I have gone up this hill for years 5 to 6 times a week. its about 17% grade. even on the tandem. on my new bike, I can do it with 400 watts at about 4.5mph without killing myself. Today I went around it to see how that goes. I don't know if that's why I only averaged 122 watts as I burned 400...

    syrup for pancakes?

yes its tastes far better. but its a treat and it takes far less because the flavor is so intense. When I put it on my wife's pancake it is called a poop cake or SOS literally or dung cake. she does not appreciate that for some reason.

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

took a 10-mile spin on the e-tandem today after work. Now it feels easy so I had to turn it down to eco mode. burned 300 calories more than usual on that ride. so today, about 1000 calories riding.
