That’s what I used. But after 50,000 miles, I will not be getting much new. This year, 9 miles of new on the bike and 6 on foot. So I do a ton of duplicating since I only ride everywhere I don’t drive.
This is all of my rides since I had a Garmin. Not all of them. It’s only 50,000 miles worth. One out at the beach. One to a cool location. I had to ride the train for 4 hours to get there. The rest I got there and biked back on the bike.
actually this is the problem. The bigger the spoke the harder it is to fully tension because they tend to be stronger than the rim. so the spokes are not fully tightend so the wheel is weaker. going to 14g spokes and built well will make the wheel stronger.
they do hold up 5 years so far. my karoo2 was not practial for commuting as it took so long to turn on so short runs were a pain. i am using it now on my new bike but I have to charge itr 3 times a week.
