    Bafang M620 upgrade?

How many teeth on your front chain ring? How many on the rear? Just curious.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

CAN version you are out of luck as far as programming is concerned. I honestly don't believe you have a lack of "power" problem. I have the same motor and Rohloff hub. My bike will will climb any hill at speed, for a long duration without overexertion. You may have some other problem. Have you...

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

Volts X Amps = Watts 52 * X = 2200 X = 42.3 You will need to install a controller rated at 42+ nominal amps. Don't do it. If your motor is UART, get a cable and program the torque settings. @smorgasbord has a whole thread on it.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

I've got a BBSHD too, on a Fat Tire Bike. You do realize that you are going to have to work harder with the ULTRA becuase it's torque sensing and there is "no free lunch". The BBSHD has cadence sensing which is going to power you up to speed whether you are pedaling hard or easy. BBSHD is a lot...

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

I have the same motor and Rohloff hub. 30 Amp controller, 48V battery. I cannot imagine having any problem climbing long and steep grades. Something else must be amiss. What is your transmission ratio (Chainring Teeth/ Rear Sprocket Teeth)? I was running 2.5 which had ridiculous climbing...

NY state now requires all eBikes to have UL certified batteries...

And local bike stores. I saw a lot of shady stores in NYC selling refurbished sketchy batteries.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

Yes. It woud involve upgrading your controller (40amps+ nominal), and a new battery as your battery will need to have a BMS (40amps nominal) with a higher amperage output, and you'll need higher voltage 52V-60V. You'll probably want more Amp Hours too as you will obviously burn more energy on...

    Adventure 2 rear rotor

Initially, it sounds like your rotor is bent, or your brake mechanism is not alighned properly. I found this kit to be invaluable for setting up my brakes, and straightening a bent rotor. Looks like commercial etsablishemnts may not sell rebuilt or reconditioned batteries that do not meet the legislative standard.

NY state now requires all eBikes to have UL certified batteries...

Pretty comprehensive. It also covers all those jinky bike stores that "assemble, recondition, sell or offer for sale, lease, or rent a lithium-ion battery or a second-use lithium-ion battery". The cost for batteries for all those ebike delivery guys in NYC just doubled, or tipled.

Decided to expirament with Slime Black Label for my tubeless tires.

It was time to get new tires for my eMTB. Previoulsy I was using Stan's No Tubes for my tubeless sealant, which worked really well. This time I figure I might as well try something different, and the Slime Black Label for tubless tires was about 60% less expensive than Stan's. I read a few...

SuperCharger 2 GT Rohloff with a Performance Line CX eBike System 2 motor

I don't blame you. I shy away from any kind of proprietary electronics on my bike. Sorry you had such a bad experince with the eshifter. Seems to be a major pain when it breaks down. I love the hub and could never go back to a derailler system.

SuperCharger 2 GT Rohloff with a Performance Line CX eBike System 2 motor

I'd send your wheel to Peter White Cycles. He could install the manuall shift box on your wheel. There are only two Rohloff factory trained authorized service centers in the U.S., he's one of them. He's really good. He could do it for you. The whole operation on the wheel should only take an...

SuperCharger 2 GT Rohloff with a Performance Line CX eBike System 2 motor

Yes, the stock grip shifter. I really like it. Very precise, has a good feel. Quickly moves through the gear steps in a snap.

SuperCharger 2 GT Rohloff with a Performance Line CX eBike System 2 motor

Thanks. I decided against the "e-version" shifter. The web is full of owners that have problems with those units, and for MTB riding, manual control is a must. Hope you get it resolved soon.

Curious, what has failed on the Rohloff? I installed a Rohloff on my eMTB 14 months ago. Just curious.
