All good Jeremy, I’ll find out if our Creo1 and 2 will make it without the RE. A buddy is bringing his for me to use in case it’s windy. I’ll let you know.

Winter is coming: how do I protect the battery?

How about using that tape that you plug in and wrap around your pipes so they don’t freeze?

hello from an old guy with bad legs

That’s a great looking bike, I see why you like it. Is it comfortable to sit on and ride? Do you have a question about the bike?

    Ammo can storage

The cement bunker is going to be the best and cheapest way to contain a battery fire. It will naturally vent because the blocks don’t fit airtight next to each other. Fit them together so one layer of hollow block keeps the battery off the ground and you will be good. You will have to deal...

Catalina Island, Avalon to Two Harbors

Morning Jeremy. Avalon itself if fairly flat, but anywhere out of town it gets steep. In your bottom picture of Avalon there’s a great ride. You take the road around the corner in the top of the photo and there’s a restaurant called the Buffalo Nickle, it’s Mexican food. Just past the...

    CBS Evening News

It’s going to keep happening. Stupid parents buying stupid kids an electric motorcycle and letting them ride it anywhere they want. Then it’s someone else’s fault when they go splat.

    e Trike pls Help

This is exactly what I was thinking of. Have your LBS or a fabricator fit them for you, that way you won’t have to sell your Lectric and as you ride and gain your balance, maybe you can remove them.

Would it be possible to add large training wheels to your Lectric? Maybe use bicycle wheels for the side wheels?

    Balancing - Time-Consuming?

That’s not true. You won’t even know that the battery is balancing during the charging. Depending on how low your battery is, your charging time will vary.

    Safety Wiring { Maybe not a great title ? }

Exactly what Jeremy said. Do not disconnect any lights that are wired into the bike. Ive added two lights on my Creo so I’m seen by cars.

Having trouble on deciding First time E-Biker

How about Walmart or Costco? They have great deals and you can shop online. They both have a great return policy too, if there’s something wrong with it. Normally I won’t advocate for them for an e-bike, but your situation is unique.

    Creo 2 Dork Disc Removal

Yea it’s clear plastic and just looks cheap for such an expensive bike.

Having trouble on deciding First time E-Biker

Do you have any bicycle shops near you? If you do, go to all of them and spend time talking to the people working there. They might not have what you want, but you’ll learn a lot from just talking to them. I wouldn’t worry about the long range part, you’ll be done after an hour on the bike...

    Creo 2 Dork Disc Removal

I just realized that my wife’s new Creo 2 still has the dork disc on the rear wheel. Whats the easiest way to remove it? On one of my old bikes I remember going crazy with a pair of side cutters, but there’s gotta be a better way.

Replacing The Coin Battery In the Specialized SL TCU Gen 1

There’s a YouTube video and if you follow that, it’s so easy. Pull the TCU further out of the frame and you’ll see two connectors. Unplug those, turn the TCU upside down and while depressing the battery catch, tap the TCU on your palm. The battery will fall out. Reconnecting the plugs is...

Where do you keep your bike?

The two Creos are kept in the house, the Vados and Levos are in the garage. I’m not worried about them self combusting, but I monitor them closely when charging.
